A Splash of Purple

I LOVE the color purple! It is just such a soothing color to me! Digging these bedrooms!



I am thinking that I need to have a purple table like this somewhere in my house! How fabulous is this?!?!




This makes me want to go right on into this house... Inviting...

Dreamy Bedrooms!

LOVE the brick wall!

Feeling a little sleepy and sluggish today... I wish that I could just curl up in any of these rooms and never leave!

I am digging all the color that is in these rooms! It makes me want to invest in a new bedspread! I would feel so happy waking up to this in the morning!

Decorating with Books!

I have lots and lots of books at home, but I don't really like the look of ALL my books being on a bookshelf together. I think that sometimes it can look a little too cluttered, so I like to use them in other ways around the house to draw interest and bring elevation to different items.

I think that this book tower is ADORABLE! I can picture it in a childrens room with some chairs flanking it... So cute!

There are many different ways that you can lay books and position them to make it more pleasing to the eye. I like to lay some down with things on top, and then also keep them stacked up like this pic. Love it!

New Shelves

Just scored these new shelves off craigslist along with two other plain ones for only $10! I am SO in love with them! Can't wait to put them up!

DIY Dresser

I Love to get things for really cheap/free and then make them into something that I am going to use and enjoy. I got this dresser off of a family member, in this condition.

We sanded it down, painted it, and added some new hardware and got this sweet piece that is going to go well in our house!

Right now, we have it at the entrance of the house, and we are going to put our fishtank on it. I will post more pics when the whole thing is completely done and decorated.

Pillow Stepping Stones

I found these cute stepping stones that look like fluffy pillows! They are actually rock, and they come in a variety of colors, size, and shape. You can find them here. I just don't know if I can resisit them, and think that I might have to put them somewhere on or near my deck. I was thinking the pathway that leads up to the deck...

Pumped on Patios!

Lately, I have been thinking about spicing up my deck outside. It is a small, but great space that just needs a little tweaking and some TLC. While I don't have the money to do anything with it yet, a girl can dream! Here are a few patio's that have given me inspiration and dreams as well! Enjoy!

Well, this is the first post that I have done, and we shall see where it takes me. I have been trying to figure out this whole concept and it has taken me a very long time.
