The Clawfoot Bathtub

Since I am in love with the Victorian, I think that it is safe to say that I am also in love with the Clawfoot Bathtub. I adore that vintage feel to a bathroom! There is something about the Clawfoot that just makes me want to get into a bubble bath with some candles, flowers, and some soothing music... Simply Stoked on the bathtubs!

Stoked on the Green!

I think that green is my new favorite obsession. It seems to be such a calming color that makes me one with nature... I mean, is there really any way that you can be stressed out and overwhelemed when you are surrounded by this color?

I just get so relaxed...

Decorating Small Spaces

So, I live in a REALLY small space. My boyfriend and I rent a small one bedroom bungalow, therefore, I am always looking for some ways to help me decorate a small space...

The key when decorating a small space is dual functionality. You need your pieces to work as decoration and as storage at the same time.

Another key in small spaces is to get rid of all clutter. Things that aren't necessary are going to just clutter your space and make you more anxious. If you don't have a centimental tie to something- think about getting rid of it

Storage is almost always an issue with small spaces, so work with what you have. Put your washer and dryer in the bathroom or kitchen if possible-use a storage ottoman as a coffee table, or a dresser as a tv stand... Things like that...

Beach Cottages

I have always been a fan of the beach cottage style. I think that the main attraction for me is the crisp, clean feel that I always get. Everything always has it's place, and it all looks so cozy
I love the striped floors in this livingroom! Paired with the light, and the yellow chair with the accents of the blu pillows. Fabulous!

I like the white, with the suttle pops of color. My favorite part about this pic is the scroll decoration in the corners of the opening. It adds that much more pizzaz to the space.

I have always been a huge fan of using luggage as tables... I like how they painted these ones white- So crisp!

Wouldn't you just love to sit here with your morning cup of coffee?!?! Or a nice margarita or mojito in the warm afternoon... mmmmmm

So, I am absolutely in LOVE with the frames on the wall! How clever is that?! It looks super cute with the necklaces and jewlery hanging down. Super stoked on this idea! May have to try it out sometime...

DIY Calendar

I got this idea from a magazine that I dont remember now, but thought it was a really cute idea. I got a cookie sheet (plain old regular cookie sheet) and painted it. Then used some spray adhesive and attached the decorative paper. I used magnets for the numbers and a scrapbooking hole puncher for the paper with stickers as the numbers. I then got some sticker letters, and stuck thinner magnets to the back to make the month. Used some tacky glue for the clips and VIOLA! Super stoked on how it turned out! I also decided that if I wanted some change with the appearance, I can just put it on the fridge with a different decorative paper and can glue clips to the magnets... So many choices...

Beautiful Bedding

I have been really stoked on this site inmod lately and heres another peek why... The bedding is fabulous! AND you can actually design your own duvet covers! How cool is that?!?!?! Here are some that they already have designed that I thought were awesome...

Stoked on the Console Table

I have always had a love for console tables. I like how they are so versitile and you can use them for anything. They can be paired with a stool to make a vanity, they can go behind the couch, they can go in the hallway or entrance, or they can be even used as a desk. Here are a few of my favorites! I love the yellow lamp paired with the red table!

I love the shabby chic look of this table with the green vases! Amazing!

Awesome wallpaper! It all goes so well together with the picture groupings

I am in love with this stool! What a great pop of color!

How busy and fun! With the green rug, and the little touch of yellow on the table! Love it!

This is so elegant to me! Everything goes so well together- the lamp, the mirror, the teal poof stool.

My Zocalo Table!

So, my boyfriend was driving home from work
yesterday and saw this table on the side of the road!

He brough it home where I fell in love with it. We looked up online how much it is and found out that somebody left a perfectly good $400 table outside on the side of the road!

What is one man's trash is another man's treasure!

My love for the Victorian House

When I was younger, one of my favorite things to do with my best friend was to walk down this one street in downtown Santa Cruz and dream and fantasize about how I want my life to be when I get older, and it always started with the amazing Victorian houses that we walked past. I just can't seem to get enough of them, and still want to live in one. Even the driveways are adorable!

I love the amount of intricate details there are, and the combination and amount of colors that are used to paint. The living rooms have bay windows or rounded windows. Even the roofs and gardens have detail and design to them! These are just a few that I fantasize about owning :)

Wall Art

A Great way of putting a little extra attention into your home is through wall art. I found this amazing site that offers these stickers for very reasonable prices called inmod. These are great for renters, because you can easily remove them when you move. How cute is that stick coat hanger?!?! I love it with the sticker!

I like how they used the sticker in this, then added pegs. Very creative!

A touch of Pink!

Just a touch of pink, goes a LONG way!
Which one is your favorite?
