I needed some more Christmas decor, and something to keep me busy and entertained, so I decided to cut up a cardboard box (the flaps) into three pieces and make a cute sign.
I had some paper I really like left over, so I covered the pieces in the paper and wrapped them nice and tight
I drew out some swirly letters
And glittered the heck outta them!
I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out, and it satisfied everything I needed it to: kept me busy, was free, sparkled, and looked "Christmasy" but not fru-fru traditional green and red (nothing against it).
My owl friend still looks amazing too! And the angel on the right is the "Angel of Sunflowers"- my sister
This turned out lovely. I bought the letters because I didn't know if I could make them look good out of cardboard but I like how you just drew the letters on. Good thinking.
